Day 3

Today，we had interesting courses about physics. After listening to the explanation of the bridge’s structure and knowledge, students started to make their own bridge models and then they checked what weight could the bridge bear.

As they made the model, they knew which kind of bridge is more useful. Kids like this way to study because they think it’s more interesting.

The campus of UCB is quite big. Some many different kinds of plants are here. Thus, animals are everywhere in the campus. Squirrels are one of the representative animals.

Before coming to the US, I never saw a real squirrel before in China. Squirrels to me are just about a famous dish called “ sweet and sour mandarin fish（松鼠桂鱼 ）”in my mind.

But here, squirrels are the real one, as many as birds, in the forest, on the grass, on the tree, behind the flowers or just behind you!

I met a funny squirrel this morning, it wasn’t afraid of persons here, on the contrary, it got close to persons, you guess what? It begged for food! But poor squirrel, no food, still hungry...Maybe it was embarrassing, so the cute “elf” hugged a long grass on the road by two short claws and tried to eat it.

To comfort the poor squirrel, I took a peach out of my pack bag, and gave the peach to it. Suddenly, the squirrel was cheered up and got the peach! The peach was big and even bigger than the squirrel’s head, but who cares! As the squirrel affirmed the peach was delicious，it run onto the tree quickly with the food to enjoy it. How cute it was!

Finally, I told the students they were so lucky to broad their horizons at their ages. And thanks to the professional and careful working attitude, BH company planned the study tour so well.

All of us should cherish the wonderful time here.
